Washington Opposed to Moving Dungeness Roosevelt Elk Herd

That's funny.....Jack Smith from F&G (Monte office) told my buddy on Tuesday afternoon that they were going to relocate the herd. My buddy was drawn for a damage permit up there in December, but the herd stayed on private property. A local state patrol man also told us that they were going to move the herd.

I know nothing about this herd being an eastsider, but i do know that those damn elk fences are incredibly expensive as their estimate already proposes. I am unaware of the number of elk in this herd, but if it isn't too large say 100 or less i would say relocate them, it would cost less thats for sure.
