I have a Wasatch bull moose tag and was wondering if anybody knew where some trophy moose are or have a good place to go to find some. If you find a trophy moose and show me and thats the bull i end up killing there will be a reward. thanks
Here is wishing you lots of luck on that endevor. I have two friends that drew out this year on the Wasatch for moose and they are not seeing very much and one of them is about to turn his tag back in. They are seeing some smaller bulls and a very few with any size. You can always try American Fork Canyon and up to Cascade Springs with the rest of the hunters and trust your luck. You might also try up towards Currant Creek, there is always a wall hanger up that way but they usually hang out on the private property.
My biggest discomfort when it comes to hunting is my feet and when they get cold or wet my hunting fun slowly turns to a job trying to keep comfortable.
In my opinion wool socks are the only socks you should be using while hunting. Any other socks do not provide the proper insulation and if they get wet all they are good for is giving you blisters.
