It will be interesting to see if the MSM stays loyal to Obama and simply sweeps all of this under the rug.

Its a bit scary that there is this much scandal already. I cannot remember another president coming into office with this much scandal BEFORE he is even sworn in.

The nomination of Richardson is baffling. Surely Obama knew he was under investigation.

Once again I wade into dangerous waters when I say this. As you all are well aware by now i'm no fan of Mr. Obama, however I must say nothing in appropriate or illegal has as yet been proven or even alleged. Given the fact that there were wire taps of these communications if there were violations, they will be made public eventually. Any politician leaving one office for another discusses who will fill the vacancy. This is a given and is not unethical or illegal, it's simply "real-politic". The question is was it discussed that it would be sold for a price? If so, it will come out and he will pay the price. In between then and now he is the president elect and as much as I disagree with just about everything that comes out of his mouth I will presume his innocence. Of coarse if he is guilty I will gleefully open fire with all guns (figuratively speaking of coarse) in a huge and joyfull bunnyslayer broadside. My view being there is no better time to kick a liberal than when he is down. Time will tell. Until then he is innocent and leader of the semi free world.

Bunny Slayer, I don' t think the issue is whether or not anything illegal occurred - I doubt that Obama was involved in illegal activity with Blego.

The point that NBC news was making was that Obama promised to stay out of the selection of his replacement and from his own report, he obviously broke that promise.

It is another broken promise to add to the list of already broken promises.

Personally, I think the biggest laugh is how he ranted on and on about the war during the campaign, how we needed to change, and how we couldn't go with McCain because McCain would represent four more years of Bush.
