Walleye pics

Went home to WI for a couple weeks in June and did a little walleye fishing across the border in MN.

First one is my cousin w/ a nice walleye.

2nd one is me w/ a sauger

3rd one I'm working on my farmer's tan

Those are some of the best

Those are some of the best tasting fish out there.  I just wished that I had those filets in my freezer.

I hear ya. The folks and I also hit up Mille Lacs Lake in MN.  Been there about 4 times and have never been skunked.  Love that fishery. Don't know if it's okay to post a link to another site, but I figure it's only fishing and not a hunting site.  Here's a couple pics of the folks (posted on 6/25 somewhere on the page):

Numb, I see you're in Oregon.  You ever fish the Columbia R. in the spring or fall for those big walleyes?  I need to do that sometime...

Not really, I went once, I mainly fish for salmon, steelhead and over sized sturgeon.
