Good post! Can't wait for the NJ youth hunt on the 19th. My daughter can't wait either. Theres a huge buck running in the woods behing my parents house and we have left it unhunted so she can have a better chance.

I took my son out over weekend, sat was a great day-weather wise, but didnt see anyhthing. sunday we saw one doe, but she was just out of range and couldnt gfet close enough. Over all had a blast.

I took my oldest son out, he's 10. To warm deer weren't moving, walked in on a Tom 6 inch beard Sunday morning, I can't remeber who's eye's were bigger my son's, or the Tom's. He had a blast, and has requested to go back out this coming weekend. 8)

Sunday mornin when i spotted the doe, i handed my son binoc's. but he as shaking so much with excitement he couldnt hold them still, . Then when he spotted her it was even more so. Worth evey sec. he just asked me this afternoon why the weekend takes so long to get here.

Really puts the excitement back into the hunt for all of us doesn't it.
