View from my back yard...

I was out sitting in my backyard looking over the neighboring field this weekend wishing I had a tag for first season watching the animals move. It looks like the bull I saw during archery is picking up quite a few cows. Thought I might share the view...

Also watched a doe and a fawn feed in the field on saturday.

It sure is great here in Colorado I must say. Even if I'm just looking its good to see elk doing so well in the area. I'm done elk hunting this year and riding on my second season deer tag. I can't wait for next years archery hunt.

We ran into part of this herd late in the season a few mile away. I'm kind of glad we never got within shooting range of the bull. He really is nice and sure will have time to spread his seed on to a heatly number of cows for next years offspring. It's kind of funny how things work out.
