This was a video I made of my 2006 hunting season where I took my 12 yr old son out on his first hunt. I tried to piece together the whole season including typical camp pics. Also if you can sit through the thing, I've got a kill shot at the end. It was the last night of the hunt! Anyways, it was another head-on shot. That cow ran only 50 yds afterwards.

Nice pics......but what have you put around those stumps? Between the fighting and the fact that they are focused around them like a trough leads me to believe there has to be some sort of attractant/bait. In the first pics looks like you have some salt or something out there.....and a bunch of it.
First of all, if you haven't gone winter backpacking, it needs to happen in the near future. It puts a very unique twist on the summer version of the activity. Yes, it's cold but it's nothing that being prepared can't remedy. Beyond it's therapeutic and recreational value, I think it is a very good tool for the big game hunter as well.
