Wow that is a crazy cool

Wow that is a crazy cool picture.  I too thought that onlu ate fish and small amphipians.  That is one lucky photograher to catch something like that...my hats off to him.

Those birds will eat anthing

Those birds will eat anthing that comes within range of their beaks.  It is just figured that they eat mostly animals and fish that are found in the water just because that is where they do most of their feeding.

I am an arborist, and just

I am an arborist, and just yesterday a customer asked me how to get rid of voles. I suggested mouse traps in the paths, but a heron would be much better. lol.
