Anybody up in the great state of Vermont been out in the woods, maybe doing some snowshoeing, and seen any deer, dead or alive?
Just wondering how they are doing with all the snow they've gotten.
My Dad has been over to the island to our hunting spot, and said he's seen some sign, but it appears they are all yearded up and doing well.
I'll be back this fall for rifle season, so I have to hope that a buck or two survives.... 
I've been seeing more and more deer now in Vermont now that the snow is disappearing but in talking to a local warden he's telling me they were hit hard in certain areas with winter kill. I know the area I hunt was hit hard. I'm hoping it's not going to be a bust this upcoming year.
