Anyone else catching a glimpse of bucks in velvet this year?
Over the last few weeks I have noticed the evasive bucks grouping up and leisurely enjoying the fresh pasture grass. They would never dream of being this bold come fall. I added a pic, this one looks like he may be a non-typical???

Yea that buck may have additional points or beam before the end of growing season. How about keeping us updated with pics if you can.

Looking pretty good overthere.
I haven't set any trailcams in my normal deer area this year,
I'm trying something different right now.
Heres a buck from last spring and he ended up being close to 28" - 30" when he was done growing,
When season opened a blackbear pushed him off the ranch. 
Very cool pics and thanks for sharing guys. 
Finally a update...Been kinda slow around here.
When I looked out in the field today and saw three deer and velvet, I really thought I was going to get a photo of the buck I posted a few weeks ago.
But, it appears we have a new buck making a first appearance. He is very red in color compared to the others, and at least today he was traveling with 2 does. The tips if his antlers appear as they may fork again.

Getting better Hillside..... 
This guy was munching on my strawberries when I first spotted him today. By the time I thought I had my wife's camera figured out, he and a doe had wandered off into the field. Sorry for the blurr, snapped the photo through the window.
I think it's the same buck I posted on 6/11. I'm really enjoying watching them grow this year, I wish it was not at the expense of my berry crop, but strangly kinda worth it.

So, now that July has come, the bucks have vanished into the night as usual.
My retaliation was to finally make a purchae of a Bushnell trophy cam.
In two weeks I have captured does, fawns, coyote, coyote pups and bobcats.
Yet the only buck is this tease of a shot below.(look close on the right side, nose, eyes, antlers)
Sorry for the low quality while I figure this thing out.
To redeem the camera I attached the second shot, sorry no velvet but cute enough to pass.
