Didnt draw any big game tags this year (put in for pronghorn, elk and deer) in CO... really feel down.
Anyone can suggest a place close-ish to Denver to do some prairie dog hunting, since I have never done that I have no idea where or how to start, but really want to get some time out in the open and shoot.

First of all, do you know when your coming? public land in Colorado has season dates on prairie dogs. If you are on private land then you can shoot anytime you want. There is a large grasslands northeast of Denver called Pawnee grasslands. Its about an hour and half drive but it can be good shooting. Personally, I would try to find private land because of shooting anytime and can be better shooting
