"Value" priced rifle

I had been looking at SIR, they have a good price and then I save PST. What does shipping end up costing on a rifle? I also thought maybe I should hold the rifle first and see how it feels. Maybe I'll make it to Bass Pro.

thanks for the replies

Wherever you live, you pay the applicable tax for that province, not the tax from the point of sale No way around that one now.
It is costing me about $ 35.00 to get my rifle here. You could save about $ 7.50 by not using the C O D option. Remember I'm in Nova Scotia, your cost would be lower

In the past ordering from SIR and other mail order places from out of province I've never paid PST, only GST. I have always seen a thing saying HST will be added to certain provinces though. I may not entirely understand it but I'm not going to argue.

You may well be right, Toll Free to SIR 1-800-265-6245and you'll know for sure. Thumbs up We get stuck with the 15 % Harmonized sales tax.

Yeah you only pay the GST. It is only a few backward thinking provinces that agreed to paying 14% as opposed to just GST. Brick Wall,) Oops!
