I don't remember the last time it rained here. Several weeks ago we had snow; maybe 1/2" or a bit less. Mid to low 20's at night and low to mid 40's durning the day. Rancher's are really hatung the lack of moisture, I don't blame them.

I hear ya Don, beside that big storm in November we havent had much in the way of rain or snow since then. looks like on friday a small system is going to come in but i dought it will make it your way. I wonder if this year will be like last year and be dry untill March then rain till August. There isn't even all that much snow on Mt. Hood either. I was just up there last weekend. Hopefully they get some snow soon or next summer could be interesting with a lack of water.

Bunch of snow up where I normally hunt.  It's pushed the deer off the hill, so to speak. 

I went over Santiam the morning after the last storm was supposed to hit. Bare road all the way and little snow any where. Going over a couple days before thru Goverment Camp saw very little snow also. Got no idea what's going on. Whei I first came here, we'd usually have snow by the end of Oct or early Nov.

It seems like the past few winters we get hit pretty hard in November then December and first part of Jan is pretty dry then Feb and March get hit hard again. That storm in November dumped about 3.5 feet of snow at Timberline and Meadows. At 1800' during the late season archery season I was knee deep in snow where I shot my deer this year. Looking at the forecast next week looks pretty wet all week long so maybe the rainy and snowy season will finally arrive. My brother snowboards and hasn't been able to go too many times this year due to lack of snow at the resorts. He has been doing the snow dance in hopes it will bring in some moisture.
