Try going across the laramie river into the Rawahs, I've seen a lot more deer there and it sees less pressure because it's not as accesible, I'll be up there 3rd season as well!

Try off the boulder ridge road right by the state line . Seen some good bucks in there. During Muzzleloading season this year we shot one on the mouth of bull mountain its a good hike but worth it. Also try unit 7 behind Holnholtz lakes up by old Roach

If you go to area 7 around Han holts lakes there may be some deer around there as long as there is some weather. Just came back from hunting 2nd season and was a hard hunt. Good luck!

Old Roach Road?

Old Roach Rd. was mentioned above. Where exactly is this road? FR 200 on the map is also listed as Roach Rd. wondering if Old Roach Rd. is different offshoot road. Has anyone done well in this area? Has anyone done well in Grace Creek Basin?

We drove past the Grace creek Basin and id think there would be animals all over but it was mid day. If you drive to the west past grace creek on i think 200 or 204 it will put you out in Kings Canyon, saw tons of elk track up there. Nice country, but there a chunk of blm around there that you have to watch for the boundaries!

I know a couple of guys who did some archery hunting around roach and one got a nice 5X5....but its a lot of walking and the further you get away from the roads the better your going to do. espcially in 7 and 8
