unit 38 deer (Colorado)

Thinking about getting and either sex deer tag for this unit.  I would be fine shooting a doe.  Any advise?

I wouldn't unless that's your backyard

It can be a tough place to deer hunt.  Unless you live close enough to get some serious scouting done, and quickly, you may want to spend your time in a more productive unit.  Also, it's a pain, but try to get to know some of the smaller pockets of public land, with few to poor access from public roads at the lower elevations.  Like I said, it's a pain, but there's also some high country you can hit if you're archery hunting.

38 is the last best place in

38 is the last best place in CO to get a leftover tag. Have hunted it many many times, and we have mulie buck tags for this fall too. Only poor luck has prevented us from tagging out on deer ev yr in 38. Email me and I'll give you some tip of places to go, and places I hadnt been yet that  we should go in 38. We have 3rd rifle, what r u getting???
