Unit 30 New Mexico

Hello there, i am new to this forum and have already found some great info in the short time I have looked. The info I need is about Game Unit 30 in Southeast New Mexico. A group of us drew for mule deer and will be on trucks and on foot mainly with a camper or base camp of some sort. Any areas that are better than others? How are the roads, and are there pull offs to set up a trailer? Just would appreciate any info if ya'll have hunted Unit 30!!!

i have never hunted there but i work up there and in the mountains there are some spots to camp and some roads are good some are washed out

There are a lot of deer in unit 30 unfortunatley there is a lot of private land in that area but there are some good access roads with public land. It may be hard to find a 190 class buck in there but there are some good deer there. hope this helps
