Unit 20, cows

Anybody got a lead on a place to get a cow. I got a bull this year, but it had CWD, so I got a replacement tag that is for private land only.

I would be willing to trade for access, we have some private land but only bulls no cows seem to come to our area.

Let me get this straight.........

You killed a bull this year that had CWD, so you were given a replacement cow tag, right? Was your bull killed in unit 20 PLO?
If the bull you shot had CWD, you'd think that you'd be reissued another bull tag.

Certainly if you have some land with bulls on it, the cows shouldn't be too far away, especailly if the snow and cold pushes them down to the lower elevations. The PLO tag is good until the end of January isn't it?

The DOW does not give any male tags for CWD. Femle only. They said the do this because you get to keep the horns, you just have to replace the meat. Logical i guess.

I have hunted this place for 5 years and have never seen a cow past Oct. I would have thought cows would be there too.
