Ultimate Quail Gun

cant dismiss the browning auto-5 12 ga. a little heavy but is worth it for reliability killed hundreds of quail with it. clean it and it is one of the smoothest shooting most dependable auto loaders.

Ultimate Quail Gun

Mine is a Browning citori superlight, upland 12 ga. I like it so much I use it for almost everything. I have a Beretta O/U 686 that I like too, but I just love the little Browning.

1947 Browning Superposed Field Grade 12ga Imp/ModCyl.

I took a lot of Gambel's Quail with it in Southwest New Mexico

Hunting Tip: Use the Hide

Over the years I have seen several elk and deer hides left in the woods by hunters and I have to wonder why they do this? I fully understand and agree about getting the hide off the animal as soon as possible to cool the meat, but why not pack out the hide with you and use it? As far as I know there are no state laws that require you to take the hide home, but to me why waste such a beautiful part of the animal? Some might think they have no use for the hide or it costs too much to tan....
