Holy crap! How did I miss this post! I am a very avid MMA practioner and follow the UFC religously among other MMA events (Pride, King of the Cage etc. etc.) I been training in Martial Arts for about 12 years now...spent 10 years training in Tae Kwon Do and been training in MMA for a couple years now. I trained with UFC legend Royce Gracie last year and that was pretty educational! I attached a pic of Royce and I.
StruttinAnRuttin, That kind of training should keep a man in fantastic shape. Great photo, Yes Gracie was king for a long time.
Definitely! Very intense training! You gotta like playing rough to enjoy this sport. I'm currently cutting weight and looking to get on a consistent training schedule so I can start competing in the near future.
Definitely a great line up, Randy Couture came out of retirement to fight Tim Sylvia for the heavyweight championship, Rich Franklin is fighting Jason Mcdonald and Matt Hughes is fighting Chris Lyttle. Columbus is only three hours from my hometown (Pittsburgh). So its not a bad drive at all.

What do you do with those empty nylon feed bags or dog & cat food bags? Can you say recycle? I use them for target practice for the youngsters. Take your empty shopping bags, stuff them into an empty nylon feed bag. You can also use old clothing or rags, (but put them in the bottom so it doesnt get top heavy). When your bag is full, fold the top over, punch some holes into the top and zip tie the top shut. Paint, draw, paste, or have the kids decorate their new target. Set it out 10 or 20...
