Did anyone besides me watch the UFC last Saturday?

43 year old Randy Couture had an incredible bout to defend his heavy weight title.

I was again impressed with George St.Pierre as well. I'm sure he'll hold the welterweight title again someday.

I'm an MMA fan and was just wondering if anyone else on this sight followed it.

I didn't watch it. I occassionally watch some of the matches but not regularly.

Some are pretty exciting. Don't ask who was fighting but one fight I enjoyed had one guy getting his butt kicked for all but the very end of the match. The stronger opponnent came in and was met with a knee to the temple. Dropped him like a rock and ended the match.

I agree, I thought Matt got robbed. IMO I thought Matt won 2 of the 3 rounds.

It is great when the hometown crowd gets behind their fighter but judges are to judge the fight and not be bias.

It was great to see Free fights! Thumbs up

Agree, Hamill controlled that fight completely. Hometown crowd got the win for Bisping.

Not only did Hammel get robbed but did you hear the judges score? 27 to 30. I used to fight full contact karate and have fought and trained in MMA fights and still teach i naturally score the fightsin my head i dont know what fight they were watching but they got the scores backwards. I had it 28 to 30 Hammiel. His striking was a impressive lope sided win which was a suprise and in first round alone Hammel took Bisbing down 3 times EASILY with sweeps and hurt Hammel 4 FOUR times with strikes on the feet. Bisbing had zero escapes on the ground, Hammel let him up. Being conservitive that was a 10-8 round in first round alone. I favored Bisbing for KO but Ortiz has really worked on Hammels striking, was very sharp technique for UFC which tends to get somewhat slopping in techinical striking. Note the technique differance between the Pride guys coming over to UFC to find out what i mean.

Thanks everyone. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't me. I had the fight at 28-30 Hammel as well.

..........but it was nice watching those fights for free.

My friends and I normally get together and share the cost for the pay-per-view events...........except for October, November and December, because we're too busy chasing critters.
