Here's a link that I found that has the best description & photos of bullet pullers working for anyone that may not be sure of how they work or trying to choose between the two. For the few extra dollars the press mounted puller is so superior.

Types of Bullet Pullers
I used a kinetic puller for many years.
One day the gal says. "Can you do that quieter."
I bought a press mounted puller and never looked back. The only way to go.
It's faster, easier and neater. With the kinetic puller and soft points. I had to put a wad of cotton in it or the point would flatten or bend when it hit the end of the chamber.
