The bears here like day-old donuts and molasses the best. They also hit old beaver carcasses that I kept from the previous year. Just about anything edible will bring them in.

Fructose worked the best for us, but beaver, goat, and deer hides also work great.

What worked good for me was dog food and fryer grease from a restaurant.

I like to use day old bread and donuts. I also use fryer grease as well. I beleive it gets on their feet and makes scent trails as they leave. To get the bears to come in good I take trash fish, cut them up, put them in a five gallon bucket about half way up and cover with water. Tnen you seal it up GOOD, I keep them at my friends house( he is single) and let them ferment in the sun for at laest a month. The smell is gross, but I have had bears hit the bait the next day with that as an attractant

If you could get a hold of one... nothing works better than a beaver Thumbs up . Really though, a beaver carcas seems to work wonders.
