Well, the turkey hunt started out cold and wet for me and my brother in law. We had to chain up the old pickup truck to get up the hill but once we did and set out the decoys it was game on. It didn't take too long before two gobblers showed up at the same time and two shots later there were two birds on the ground. My bigest problem was that we were not sitting together and while we both watched them come in we hadn't made a game plan on which one of us was going to shoot first and at which one if more than one came in. But it worked out. The bird that I got was a little bit furthur out than the one that my brother in law got and he took the first shot but I was ready and pulled the trigger just a second after he shot his. They weren't the biggest birds but we are a couple of happy hunters anyway. Turkey dinner for Sunday.
