Re: The Truth about Wild Hogs (feature article)

Ever notice the places that have the biggest hog [problems] are the places with the most access issues as in no public land or tight restrictions on those lands. and of course private land that charges large fees. I don't see game population problems just people problems.

Re: The Truth about Wild Hogs (feature article)

North Carolina has some serious hog issues in certain counties in the state. We have ZERO restrictions on when, how, and where we can hunt them. This means, we now have something we can hunt on Sundays, at night, and don't have to buy licenses or tags for them, YET. But I'm sure the state will find some way to get their money out of us.

Hunting on Sundays is only allowed on some of the military bases where hunting is controlled by fed gov. Can't hunt on public/private land on Sundays even if there isn't an established season, yet. Maybe this coming year. Just don't want to give the wrong info and someone get a ticket or worse.
