TRIALS AND TRIBULATIONS (the final chapter)

Howdy all.

I wrote a story that concludes the "Trial and Tribulations" post that I have been making. If anyone is interested I'd love to have some feedback on the story.

It's been a great year and I've learned a lot but still have a lot to learn.

For some reason I was waiting for the story to be posted over here like usual and never even looked in the story section till now. I'll read it through in a bit here. My bad

Pictures

I finally learned how to download the pictures on my camera in to an email.

Now I can accumulate more points. I do have a question though, is it all the qualified by point totals that get entered in to a drawing to win or by point total only?

If it's point total only it seems that the same four or five people would be winning monthly.

Thank you for taking the time to read my thoughts, observations and musings.

points

Biker, winners are determined by points by the month only. Meaning each new month everyone starts with a new clean slate (zero points).

Do try to reduce the file size of your photos before uploading, it will save on your allotted server space.

Sometimes your camera comes

Sometimes your camera comes with software (that is installed on your PC) so you can reduce the file size of a photo to be used on the web. Or you can use a program like Photoshop, or something similar, again to optimize your photos for use on the web.

Dumb

I don't even do Photoshop.

I click the camera, taking a picture, and put it in a file on my computer. Don't ask me how I do that, or the process beyond plug camera in to computer and click suggested or highlighted buttons, as I have no idea.

I then email pictures to someone to post for me. In my most recent case it was you, Moderator, that was kind enough to put my pictures in my two stories. Thank you for that. I'm not playing dumb, I really am that dumb.

One way to resize pictures if

One way to resize pictures if you are computer illiterate is to email them to yourself.  Open a new file folder and save the new picture to that file so you don't get them confused  Then use the picture that you just saved in the new file.

I'm a bit slow with all this

I'm a bit slow with all this stuff also and it took me a couple of hours to figure it out on my computer. In ine I have to open the pictures in photo gallery adn then selst each one, click th efile button at the top and it then gives the resize option. The thing that made it confusing for me was I can look at the pictures in other programs other than the gallery and the resize option is not in the other ones. Now that I have it figured out it's very easy and the pictures load up in seconds instead of minutes and still look just as good and use up very little space.
