Tree stands

Is it possible to rent a tree stand? Preferably near the Tennessee/North Carolina border.

You need to check with some

You need to check with some of the local sporting goods dealers around your area.  But in all reality I doubt that you will find anyone that is willing to rent you one just due to the liability issue of it.

One other thing you might look at is buying one.  There are some good cheap ones out there that you could buy for about the same price that you might be able to rent one for.

I don't use them so I would

I don't use them so I would have no idea other than what I have seen in catalogs.

Treestands

Lone Wolf Treestands is a newer high end stand. They are incredibly light which has great advantages when carrying it through the woods. You also can't go wrong with Ol'Man. They have been around for awhile and their new Drone with the Hex drive is very convenient being able to level yourself while up in a climber.

Stay away from comforst zone

Stay away from comforst zone heavy as hell especially for a climber I would go with summit or gorilla or tree lounge definatley a alluminum stand if you want a climber.
