Hey redrider it almost looks like he has another point there by the kicker. Can anyone else see it? It may be a tweleve. I know you probably know this already but have you tried to find his safe area. I know the big one i got I had to move back in the woods pretty far to his safe area. I hunt with a lot of lure and what had happened is when he started to 'get in the mood' my scent was the first one he had so he came to my stand. My that and it may better your chances too.

Gez, I can't tell when I saved the pic to my computer and zoomed in that way it looks like his right antler is split at the tip and it looks like there could be another point at the end of his left antler. I thinking maybe a 14 now. can anyone else see that or am I seeing things. Just try saving it to your computer and zooming in on it, a lot.

I did notice that pt. but wasn't sure it measured 1". That kicker has to be 4" or better.
There is no heavy timber or really thick stuff around this area for about 1.5 miles. Lots of wooded draws along creeks and surrounded by crop fields and a mile section of pasture. I believe right now he feels comfortable where he is because of the crops, some of it being corn fields. I'm not sure what he will do when the fields are harvested and he when he gets that itch to find some girls. Haven't seen a lot of does in this spot , I think they are hanging in the corn about 1/4 mile to the North.
Any more suggestions would be greatly appreciated Thumbs up
I like the idea of using a lure early so it's the first he gets a whiff of, just hope he's still in the area. Also good chance later he'll be close enough to hear some heavy rattling Think
This is one of the new areas I'll be trying this year, never been hunted before, at least that I know of eye roll

Never been hunted before eh? That is awsome, I think you may be in for a good season there. Rattling would be a very good idea. Also another suggestion, by the sound of the hunting area a scent drag may work wonders. If you lay a scent trail for 400 yards or so it may bring him right to you. This way if he is in your area and if he comes across the scent trail, curiousity may get the best of him and he may come to investigate. And maybe if you lay a couple of scent trails kind of surrounding your area then he won't be able to resist it. Just a thought though.
