trail camera ? led or normal flash?

I have been using trail cameras for a couple of years. I recently got a trail cam with an led flash instead of the tradional flash. Which do you prefer. I am not sure. The led just doesn't seem to put out enough light. But i keep hearing the normal flash scares animals. yet i have alot of pics at night with the normal flash.

what are your impressions?

these pics where taken in the last couple of days. amazing how most elk have dropped and are regrowing but the spikes are still hanging on.

I've used both, plus infrared/bw/nightvision/whatchmacalit, and found that the normal flash cameras can be a little slow to trigger. Lots of butt shots

Regular flash scares the deer around here to where they will not return. Switched to IR with great results. Tons of pics now.
