My suggestion would be get ahold of MapsCo in Denver, located at 7th and Lincoln or the US Geological Survey at the Denver Federal Center in Lakewood, Co. I'm sure they could probably answer any questions you have and supply you with what you need. Hope this helps.

If you want a statewide Atlas, The Roads of Colorado is the best one out there. If you want a finer scale, National Geographic maps are fantastic. Anything not covered by them, I get from the USGS mapping center in Lakewood.

Try google maps , zoom in on satellite to what you want then click on terrain in the top right corner , most pages will give elevation . FREE too.It also helps a great deal to flip back and forth to understand what you are looking at because some times ridges look like valleys in satellite mode . Good tip on ridgeline outdoors orion23 they have a little more detail than google thanks!! good luck have fun !

Thank you guys for the info. I did go to the sites mentioned and found a road atlas by Bench mark that shows elevation.I am planning to do an archery hunt in 2010 but it is never to early to start getting ready. Thanks again.

I use Ram maps from bigskymaps.com. they are a great topo map and they have elevations and roads, trails, and a bunch of other stuff. they make them for most units and the western states.
