sorry that you came back

sorry that you came back empty handed as well. At least you saw some sheep. Better luck next year!

I guess that is why they call

I guess that is why they call it hunting, at least that is what everyone tells me when I come home with a empty tag on a hunt that I had planned for months if not years. It is also too bad that you didn't at least see some, I know that would of taken the bite out of it a little or if you were able to of passed up a shot on one.

Better luck on the rest of your hunts.

According to the NMDGF my

According to the NMDGF my Barbary Sheep license is still valid in several units throughout the state until March 31, 2013. I was considering giving it a try but there is a catch. The Barbary Sheep herds in these units are scattered and far in between.

Considering the fact that I didn't see any sheep in the "premier units" that I hunted, what do you all think, should I give it one more try???

As long as you have the money

As long as you have the money and time, why not?  Just good to get out there, and like you said, it's not like you saw anything anyway during your hunts in the primary units......

As long as the tag is still

As long as the tag is still valid I would. But here is a question for you. Do you know anyone that has a pilots license or a plane? If you do you could always go sightseeing in one and see if you can find them before you head into a unit to hunt them. Granted gas is expensive but it could be a fun experience.

Units

I have never hunted or looked at the other units available. You do know a bad day of hunting is always better than a good day at work!
