Tikka T3 Camo Stainless vrs Laminate Stainless?

in a 7mm Rem Mag? Weight on the camo is 6lbs, the laminate is 6 5/8. Need advise between the two... Any thoughts?? Which will last longer? Which is a better product? Laminate or Plastic (real tree) camo?? Any thoughts apprecaited?

Also, what about kick? is the 5/8 lb difference in a 7mm rem mag something to worry about???

Tikka T3 Camo Stainless vrs Laminate Stainless?

What color laminate? I am rather partial to laminates mainly for aesthetic reasons. Although they are the strongest of all stock types. They resist sucking up moisture like walnut stocks. They won't change point of aim nearly as readily as walnut stocks after elevation and humidity changes. But other than the strength factor synthetic stocks have the same attributes. By the way synthetics are very strong as well.

The added half pound could be helpful if you are prone to recoil but if you aren't than you won't even notice the difference. I would check the stock to action fit of both, and given that they are of the same quality, pick the one that you like the most aesthically or is better priced.

Its a grey laminate and a real tree camo.... Both look good.... I am a little worried that the camo will peal or flake off? I am not sure.. Anyone who has this type of stock - comments??
