From My wife to yours - That is a pretty darn good idea.  We used to have a chocolate Lab and a yellow Lab but now we have too small a yard so no dogs now... but I think I can "rent" one from the neighbor!  Issue is I will have to sleep somewhere else now as I only have a two-man (1 person/1 big dog) 4 seasons tent.  If I can come into some "extra" money (working on that lottery) I plan on doing a drop camp then the wood burning stove in the wall tent will do perfectly!  Thumbs up

Good luck on that lottery.

I asked my wife, as the St. Bernard needs a job to earn her Alpo, but she won't rent out the dog because she uses her to keep warm when I'm not home.

The only problem is that you gotta be careful what you feed the dog.  I can only imagine the agony of being trapped in a tent with a St. Bernard fart...I think carbon monoxide would be a gentler death.
