Got some spots on a great free ranging north TX whitetail deer hunts still open. Hunts are right around the Baylor/Throckmorton county line, 2 hours NW of Dallas/FT. Worth. Over 12,000 acres which includes 4500 acres of the Upshaw School property (that has never been hunted before) that is famous for it's deer to hunters who know that area and has 6 miles of the Brazo river frontage running through it. 1 to 1.52 buck to doe ratio with bucks 130-160- class average and has had up to 180 class bucks killed on this hunt. 15 gun blinds, 17 archery blinds, 10 food plots, year round feeding with active feeders and multiple natural food plots such as wheat and oat fields. I have two hunts available for up to 8 hunters per hunt. Do to cancellations I have 2 of their best weeks available (prime rut hunts) They will provide lodging, meals and the cooking of the meals, guiding and all field services during this hunt. They only allow 3 gun hunts (groups) on this property per season.
The lodge is the oldest home in the county. It is a stone lodge that has a stone fence all the way around it. It has 2 bedrooms, 2 baths with showers, a nice big living room/TV area and a fully equipped kitchen.
They added all new mattresses for this year.
Dates: Nov. 10-13 (rut hunt) and any 4 days during Nov. 26th-Dec.3rd.
4 day hunt: $3,000. It includes lodging, meals and the cooking of the meals, guiding, one trophy buck per hunter, the hunt also offers at least one doe per hunter, one hog per hunter and as many varmints as you can shoot.
