Texas hog hunting info ASAP please!

Anyone have any info on North American Outfitters http://www.huntinghoghunting.com in Texas? We're considering a wild boar hunt there in spring 2010 and any info, recs, advice, etc. would be Deeply appreciated. Hubby US Army Ret. & experienced hunter; wife is a vet, newbie big game hunter, fairly good shot. Other couple: hubby disabled vet hunter, wife a good shot. Want successful hunt for meat, fun, and maybe even romance! LOL smile
Thanks!

I hope this is not to late but I have been there. His website is a total misrepresentation of his outfit. The ranch is only 300 acres and he will book as many people as he can at a time. There are no varmints or predators and the night is totally silent unlike it says on his site.
Hunters make drives in rows that circle around the property and you have to keep moving because the next row is always coming behind you.
There are tame exotics wandering all over the place that he keeps making lower price offers to let you shoot.
He keeps trapping hogs and bringing them in to keep it well stocked.
On the plus side the staff is friendly and the food is great.
Almost forgot that there are a lot of hidden charges that will drive the price up. He even charges 10 bucks tho use the freazer to get your meat cold.
This was the first time I ever paid to hunt somewhere and was the worst hunt I ever had.

Re: Texas hog-hunting

Thank you- I got a LOT of negative feeback on that operation on several sites... frown & we've decided Not to go there... (Frankly what he's doing sounds incredibly dangerous- Way too many hunters in a small area at one time...) But we DO want to go to Texas to go hog-hunting- any suggestions? We'd like to make the trip in early March if possible...

Although I have never been there yet I am booked the first week in March with Pope Brothers.

His operation looks good and is good to talk to. Most of his hunts have thousands of acres and will not book multiple partys on the same property.
You can also combine javelina on the same hunt if you want.
Good luck with yours and I hope I have better results also.
