texas elk

i was driving down hwy 83 just north of ackerly on my way from plainview to mcallen and i saw these elk. i had to stop and enjoy and take some pictures of these beauties. they were behind a high fence but magnificent! there were 9 of them, and outside the fence was posted nine signs, saying: donner , dasher etc

Kevin, i saw a photo of a Texas bull last year that was huge. The photo said it was a free ranging elk but didn't qualify for B & C. I don't know the story behind it but wow that thing was a monster.
