America is roughly 50 percent pro-life. Out of 150 million people, pro-lifers have killed 5 abortionists over the past 36 years.
Meanwhile, there are 2.3 Muslims in this country -- and their death toll is over 3,000.
Would it be fair to condemn all Muslims for the actions of a few? No. And yet the left spins Tiller's murder as representative of a program of domestic terrorism, and that anyone associated with pro-life views has blood on their hands.
I'm not so much pro-life as I am against pulling a third-trimester baby's foot out of the womb, stabbing it in the head with scissors, and sucking out its brain. If opposing that kind of thing makes me a terrorist in the eyes of the left, then I frankly don't want to change my views and join their company.
Tiller's murder was wrong, just as its wrong to kill a viable fetus. And as far as I can tell, JR's the only lefty on this forum that has condemned Long's murder. In my book, refusal to condemn Long's murder signifies approval or even endorsement.
Good point ex.
I have to agree, I guess that I may be somewhat of a terrorist also. I do find it criminal and abhorrent on every level to pull a baby from it's mothers womb, pierce it's skull with scissors and suck out it's brain. To add insult to injury, if by chance the baby somehow survives this, the "Doctors" are not required to administer care to them. They are just left to die.
it has also Been reported on this forum that there were roughly 950 folks at the Baby killers Funeral.
Keep in mind that what that means is that there were over 300 million Americans NOT in attendance.
Sorry that I don't have time to create and post a "pie chart" for that.
there are 2.3 Muslims in this country -- and their death toll is over 3,000.
I guess that's just good old plain and simple racism. Don't know any other way to figure it. Sounds like blaming American Muslims for the 9/11 attacks. by the way I think the numbers might be higher than 2.3 million.
You guys are pretty graphic with those descriptions. Sounds to me like you enjoy the thought. Of course your descriptions are based entirely on fiction. There's a doctor who posts on this site occasionaly, he seemed very familiar with Tiller and abortion, perhaps he could suggest some reading for you fellas to do so you at least have a rough understanding. Google or something. Good grief. Just a look at wiki would increase your knowledge by double or triple.
Here's a stat for you. Know 3 women? Chances are one has had an abortion.
Mom, wife, daughter, heck that's 3 right there. I'd just go ahead and leave womens issues to them and their doctor.
BTW that murderer has been yacking to the AP, calls collect, can't shut him up, says he is part of a much larger operation, and what state is he in?
I guess it isn't situational in a modern representational open democracy such as we have. We can just vote, and if we don't like the will of the majority we can leave. We don't get to decide when laws are worth following or not. If you don't like the law you can try to change it, or leave.
As for a hate crime meaning all crime or being meaningless, hardly. There is a very clear defined legal meaning. But generaly it is.
Hate crimes (also known as bias-motivated crimes) occur when a perpetrator targets a victim because of his or her perceived membership in a certain social group, usually defined by racial group, religion, sexual orientation, disability, ethnicity, nationality, age, gender, gender identity, or political affiliation.
Welcome back, Bunny. You didn't miss much -- still a lot of selective outrage here. The people blathering about hate crime/terrorism still haven't condemned Pvt Long's murder, much less agreed that it's a hate crime or act of terrorism.
Thanks Ex. In all honesty the more I think about it the more I believe we should do away with terms like terrorism and hate crime. A crime is a crime is a crime. Murder is murder no matter who or for what reason. What makes a killer for money somehow less a scumbag than a killer who hates because of race, religion or politics? Punnish them all equally and keep the blindfold on the lady with the scales.
First of all, if you haven't gone winter backpacking, it needs to happen in the near future. It puts a very unique twist on the summer version of the activity. Yes, it's cold but it's nothing that being prepared can't remedy. Beyond it's therapeutic and recreational value, I think it is a very good tool for the big game hunter as well. I don't think that you can spend too much time getting to know the ins and outs of the area that you hunt. And there is no better way to gain experience in...
