Tennessee M/L

My son-in-law had a great opening day hunt for Tennessee M/L season on Saturday. He took a very nice, long-tined buck as he hunted with my 6 year old Granddaughter. This was actually her very first foray into the woods hunting with her Dad. We will hunt Kentucky rifle this coming weekend and then Tennessee's rifle will follow the next weekend. Luckily for him, he still has two Tn buck tags left to fill if he wants. A couple of pictures from the hunt & harvest:

NICE!!!

That is an awesome looking buck, and to take it with the younster in-tow is even better. Way to go, and double "way to go" for recruiting the next generation.

Thank you Sir! I am very happy for both of them; my SIL for doing well and my Granddaughter for being interested enough to go with him!!

Love the buck, and more

Love the buck, and more importantly, love that smile!!!! My boy is 6, and I'd like to get him out now too, but the type of hunting out here, spot and stalk, isn't too receptive to taking a 6 year old along.  Would love to hunt out of a blind......

Congrats to your Son-In-Law!

BTW Ed, I have a photo I want to send you, it's pig related...... Wink

Well Sean,

I am all ears.....oooops, eyes...lol. Thanks for the message.  I am da*m proud of both of them. My SIL took his first deer while hunting with me , in my area and from a stand I placed. It was an 8 pnt. I should have known this fella was destined to be darn good!! This Granddaughter told me earlier this fall that she wanted to go hunting. She surprised me, but also impressed me. I am a happy camper!
