Why don't you file a consumer complaint with Tenn. Attorney General's office?

Also they state they are certified, found out if that is true and by whom and file a complaint with them too.

Actually, 3 months seems a bit short to have a mount completed. Most taxidermists I know have a 6 to 8 month completion time. Some of the better ones could take up to a year to finish a good quality mount. Another thing is that they might be using some dry preservative instead of tanning or using a custom tannery. Dry preservatives could cause some serious issues down the road.....ie...falling apart.

You should always ask a taxidrmist if they use a dry preservative. Steer clear if they do. If they tell you they tan the hide or use a custom tannery, they are using a much better method of preserving the hide to provide you with a higher quality mount.

It all sounds a bit fishy to me.

the other two guys had their mounts in 3 months, and i no that seems short but its going on two years, and he keeps telling me that their almost done,.... well they have been almost done since june of 06..........

Still running them down huh disturbed. I just spoke to Matt tonight. I just received my mount from 16 months ago from him.Looks great. He said your mount is ready and waiting but you wont contact him, return emails, etc. He said "jeff" was supposed to have contacted you about getting your mounts.

Also...You left out alot of the details about the hunt...discounted prices,free lodging, cost of mounts cut in half, etc, etc.

wander how he wold explain screwin me over? the money i was told i'd be paid for goin all the way to his place to help him out and the money he borrowed off me for gas that morning? i know for a fact he was paid a couple grand at least cuz the hogs killed were big ones! i was told i'll send ya a check have i saw one nope sure haven't.. since that i personally don't much trust him! if someone who do something like that to someone they supposedlly concider a friend then what would they do to a stranger?
