Well guys, I wasn't able to

Well guys, I wasn't able to connect with a buck this year however I shot a doe on Sunday. It was my first deer with a bow so I'm very happy and excited. If you want to I have a mini story and some pics in a thread in the NW section. Good luck to the rest of you.

Great job on the doe!!!!!

Great job on the doe!!!!! Congrats on your first with a bow. I do have a question for you? Do you feel a bigger accomplishment taking a deer with a bow over a gun?

By far

Taking her with my bow is a much bigger accomplishment by far. I was such a rush and great hunt. I will never forget it. There is just something about being so close to your prey and releasing the arrow and being able to fallow it to your target. I'm more proud of her than any buck I have taken with my rifle. I worked my butt off for that deer and I earned it. So far it's the best trophy I have in my hunting career. Thanks for the congrats! I'm still floating on cloud nine.

I have to agree with you

I have to agree with you there on that one 100%. That is why I don't even pick the gun up anymore. I'm not against guns or gun hunters at all. I'm just saying for me and actually my entire family it's bow hunting or nothing. Once again cingrats and great job on the doe. She should be some pretty good eating.

Numbnutz nice job on the doe.

Numbnutz nice job on the doe. My first sucessful year too with the bow and I totally agree it's a very unique experience. I'm still get out the rifle just to hopefully save some time next year, butas I realized this year there is a huge difference between being a bowhunter and a successful bowhunter. Congrats man!

Hey guys sorry I haven't been

Hey guys sorry I haven't been On in a long time my laptop broke and I'm on my brothers iPod right now. Well I shot another doe but nothing else... I might go out for Kate season bow hunting some but all o m trail camera pics are at night right now and I have only gotten Picures of little bucks and 1 decent buck but I think I don't want to shoot it this year because one side is nice and the other is kinda messed up so hopefully next year it isn't messed up. Congrats on the doe num nuts. Did anybody geta buck this year?
