Whats up guys. im fairly new to hunting but I've had a good mentor. I've yet to get my first archery buck, but this is the first year I'm going serious with it. I got a great spot where I've seen some monsters, almost had one yesterday, but too much brush, no shot. Next chance will be in about a week.

I guess I'm the newbie so I probally shouln't be captain.

As far as names something with buck? Buck-off, buck the system, black buck. Or whatever. Im easy.

I think numnuts should be captain because I don't really want to be captain and destroyer doesn't either.  I will if you don't want to though.  For the team name I don't care what it is I'll have to think of some though.

I dont mind being captain, its ok with me, I just ask that we check in every week if possible, last year i didnt hear from any of my team members. as far as names I'm pretty easy too. I kinda like Buck slayers, but like i said i'm easy and dont really care. My season starts this saturday, I'm not sure if I'll make it out but I'm gonna try. I have a 10 days off at thye end of Sept that will get the majority of hunting. That trip will be mainly for elk as i usally wait for deer till Nov during the late season rut hunt.

Buckslayer is cool with me to.  My season starts in 22 days or something like that.

I wasnt very happy with my spot on my neighbors land so I was looking at MFL land near me this has been the third day of pretty much walking 2 miles everytime I went out there.  So I finally found a nice trail that leads to a big bean field.  The bean field is somebody else's property so im going to have to ask them if I shoot a deer if I can retrieve it if it runs on there land.  But there is a treestand 100 yards away on a different corner.  In both of these corners just about all of the tops of the beans are taken off so I think i'm going to be hunting that spot.  The down side is it's a long way from the road.

I made it out for a few hours yesterday(27th) morning, I wasnt to serious about hunting but did have a doe and spike walk 10yrds infront of me. still way to early to shoot a doe or small buck. I'll make it out again next friday for the day. Most of my deer hunting will be done in late NOV and DEC in our late season rut hunt.
