Any luck up in Colorado yet?

I was out there on Saturday
I was out there on Saturday and Sunday this past weekend. On Saturday, I covered ~7 miles, froze my butt off, got snowed on, and all I managed to get were some pictures of these young bulls. However, watching these two guys did make my weekend. I spotted them at ~375 yards, and during the hour or so I watched them, they worked their way to within 150 yards of me. I was on a bowl above them with the wind in my face, so they never knew I was there.
Sunday was a much more pleasant hunt as the weather was nicer and I did not cover as much ground. I did not see any deer, but I did find an area that looks like better deer habitat that I hope to check out again this Saturday. I have less than a week left in my season, so hopefully I have better news to report back soon.

Just give'n a lil head's
Just give'n a lil head's up,check'n in....Late yesterday we got an inch of rain, which will make track's a lot easier to idenify for a few day's.When sand is soft an dry hard to tell difference between hawg or deer.Anyway i'm head'n out to blind this afternoon after werk, should get 2 to 2 1/2 hour's in.Hope it doe's like yesterday, slow drizzle rain, love sit'n in that.Acorns fall'n like crazy here, cant wait for our first cold snap. That blind can get a lil steamy inside.Wife an i were contemplate'n on where to put up a couple more stand's we have, that's where the fresh rain will come in handy.Hope to get them up this weekend,if knock'n one down dont keep me from it(i wish)....Good Luck 2 All !!

Came up empty
So, I have to start by apologizing because I was unable to fill my tag. I made it out there a few more times, covered a decent amount of miles, saw quite a bit of wildlife, and never even pulled my bow back. A fox came within 15 yards of me. I got within 30 yards of some turkeys. I did find an area that seems to hold deer. However, it seems to hold way more does than bucks. I got within shooting range on does, but I am sexist when it comes to hunting. I feel like I learned quite a bit about this area, and I will probably be hunting it again next year, hopefully with more success.
Good luck Chris! Hopefully you can get something on the ground to add to NiceShot's awesome buck!

My wife has learned to live
My wife has learned to live with it. As long as I bring home the meat, keep a job, and make her happy, it's not that bad. I just watch and when I notice she needs a night out I put the hunting gear down and we take a night out together and she is fine for another couple weeks. Then it starts all over again.
