Well i would like to say this

Well i would like to say this was my targeted buck, but it isn't.  The first time i laid eyes on this buck was when he stood up from the oak brush about 5 seconds before i shot him.  he wasn't my intend deer i was stocking, i was after big 4x4 when this one stood up at 15 yards and was looking right at me.  So i drew my bow and shot him thinking that it was one of the small 4x4's that was with my one i was chasing.  And yes i did shot him straight on and hit him in the chested.  He ran about 30 yards and rolled another 10 before he was dead.  I had no clue that he was going to be the biggest deer i have ever killed in my life time.  i walked down to him and that when i relized he was BIG!  Whats scary is that there is at least 3 more buck bigger them him in my hunting area.  I just hope it don't take another 12 years to get this tag again.  lol

Hey niceshot, look over the

Hey niceshot, look over the rules, especially the one in bold. Can you provide any pictures better than just the head?

Let's start voting on the rules. I say we go with buck only. We include whitetails, muleys, and blacktails. I vote for 1st buck taken and I think it should only be on unguided fairchase hunts. I don't think paid hunts should be allowed either, even if they are unguided or fair chase. If you are going on a paid hunt you already have an unfair advantage. You should provide a picture of yourself, your bow, and whole buck in the picture. If there is anything anyone would like to add feel free to do so. If you want to vote differently feel free to do so as well. Majority will rule. Let the voting begin. This information can be found in this post: 2011/2012 Archery Whitetail Buck Contest

wow sound like a sore loser

wow sound like a sore loser already.  I did send a picture of the whole buck. but here is another one if you like.  sorry my bow is not in the picture, but i had to pack him out in the rain and dark.  so i took my bow back to my truck and got my pack and meet my dad to pack him out.  I don't Pay for my hunts other then the tag i draw.  If we are doing rules i think you should not be able to hunt over a food plot!!   Plus the arrow is still sticking in his chest if you don't believe it was a bow kill.

Very nice. No, I'm not a sore

Very nice. No, I'm not a sore loser at all. I would have said the same thing to anyone else. Doesn't matter if it scored 200 or 80. I am just trying to make it fair for everyone. Once again, congratulations on a mighty fine buck. I will start a score card page and I would like for you to enter that buck on the scorecard page. I will put up an example and if you could try and follow the example I post up. This way as others score on their bucks it will be easier to keep a running total of the teams and it will help to promote the teams trophies as well.  Thanks.
