I went out this morning and I seen 4 does which were all too far away. I could have taken out a cat and a raccoon but I decided to pass on them. I will be getting back out Thursday evening then not again until Monday morning.

I didn't have much luck this evening. I seen 2 does, black, gray, and fox squirrels, a baby raccoon, and about a million chipmunks. Now I won't be able to get back out until Monday morning. Good luck to the rest of you!!!!!

This big boy has got 2 scrapes on each side of the camera and a rub line going right behind it.

Nice looking buck you have
Nice looking buck you have there. Hopefully you can nail him or one of the other nice ones you have on camera. I went out this morning and got caught in a fairly heavy rain. I finally got down about 10 til 8 after not seeing anything. As I was leaving in my truck out the long driveway I saw 2 small bucks and 3 pretty nice size does. I won't be able to get back out now until Thursday evening. Good luck to everyone else.

got a question about the
got a question about the contest rules.
Here in Iowa we can shoot spiked bucks with our doe tags. So if I take a spike with my doe tag would that count as a buck in the contest?

What is a legal buck
What is a legal buck considered in Iowa? I can shoot a spike here in Ohio and as long as the spikes are less than 3 inches it is counted as a doe. Personally I would not shoot a spike because I would want to give the little guy a chance and see what he does in a couple years. But you do what you feel is right, not what someone else thinks. So go by what your regulations are.

In Iowa if it is a spike it
In Iowa if it is a spike it doesnt matter how long because these spiked bucks never grow to be anything but a spike. That is why we want to take some off are land so they quit breeding there is a ton of them on our land.

Looks like you guys have some
Looks like you guys have some nice buck on camera there. Lets just hope you get a crack at the big boys. MOTF thats a nice doe you have there should be some good eating. You can shoot the bucks as long as there smaller than our teams buck when its all said and done. Glad to see your computers are running better. Now if only NOV 19th would get here faster so i can get back into the woods and shoot me a huge blacktail. I have one targeted, I just need to to survive the rifle season going on right now.
