I think we will go with Death

I think we will go with Death From Above. Some people just don't like things even if it is just for fun. Oh well to each his own. I have tried doing this contest on here now for the 2nd year. Some seem real interested and others don't. I say we just worry about our team and season and let the others worry about theirs. Hopefully everyone does well and is successful. At least it looks like everyone will pitch in on our team.

Don't try to make me look bad because I chose not to continue with this compition. It was my decision to make and I shouldn't be judged on that. Hunting is about fun and enjoyment with friends and family. I saw this contest leading to just the opposite and I see arguments about the rules in the future if I chose to be a part of this which would lead to no fun for everyone.

I was just under the impression that everyones name would go into a hat and teams would be chosen randomly. The fact of the matter is that yours or your sons name didn't go into the hat so therefor the whole random teams idea is trumped and this contest isnt fair.

I wish every luck this year and hope ya'll have a safe and fun season, I know I will with or without some competition.

I don't believe I said

I don't believe I said anything bad about you or anyone else. If you perceived that as a bad statement then I'm sorry. All I said there was to each his own and I wished everyone luck. Again, good luck to all and let's have a safe and successful season. Hopefully we are done with this subject and there are no hard feelings and we can move on now. Once again, I wish you a safe and successful season Alpine!!!!!

I took out the video camera

I took out the video camera Monday evening and seen three giants. None of the filming was very good though. It was getting fairly dark. I think I may try it again on Tuesday evening. I will get the memory cards on Thursday or Friday and I will also put my last set up on Thursday or Friday as well. Keep us informed on how it's going over there in Iowa. I have yet to see any out of velvet.

Saw another nice group of bucks on my way to work this morning, all were hard horned and one of them was a monster. It is still dark when I go to work, at 3 a.m. Tomorrow morning I am going to take a video camera with me and try to get them on video. I seen them in the same spot at the same time for the last 2 mornings so hopefully they are there tomoroow and I will post the video if I can figure it out.

Well, I took the camera with

Well, I took the camera with me this morning to work but as you know how it goes the bucks were not there. But there was a bunch of does and I was about an hour later than usual so the bucks have probably already passed by. So I am going to keep that camera in my truck just in case.

Heading out to check my trail cameras this weekend and hopefully I have something on there worth posting.
