T/C Omega load Advice

Just got a T/C Omega, have been shooting T/C Contender. I'm looking for advice on a good starting point for a mule deer load. Nevada is an iron sight only state and my self imposed maxium shot is 150 yards. I have three weeks to get use to the gun. Also, I have a lb of "clean shot " powder and have gotten conflicting reports on the product. Any comments?

Thank you

T/C Omega load Advice

I shoot TC Shockwave 250gr in front of 2 pellets (50gr) 777 in my Omega and have it sighted in at 100yds (the range I limit myself to)...

I have a TC Omega in .45

I have a TC Omega in .45 caliber.  I've never found anything it liked or was consistent with.

Best load for it is a "for sale" sign.

I have a TC Z5 Omega in 50

I have a TC Z5 Omega in 50 cal. I shoot 100grns of BH209 and 250 gr Barnes sabots. I get 2" groups @ 100yrds and 4" groups @ 200 yrds. Also use Nikon BDC scope on it. Very accurate and reliable MZ IMHO.

I have a tc omega that i was

I have a tc omega that i was punching double holes with at 100 yards.  of course that is with a bench rest and 3x9 Nikon scope.

120grains of Blackhorn209 and 250gr shockwaves.  at 200yds bullets were drifting quite a bit with even a slight wind.  The 300grain shockwaves helped slightly at longer range.  4-6" groups at 200 yards.

This year I will be in Colorado where there are no scopes or sabots.  I just bought a box of

Hornady FPB 50 cal 300 grain bullets.  They say they are accurate at high velocities.  I believe I should be around 2100fps.  I will give an update after the range.  I am hoping it will be someting in the next 2 weeks.
