I never could figure out why people waited until the last minute to do their taxes. I had mine done the first weekend in February and both of my refunds back within a week. Even the year that I owed the feds money I had them done early and then just waited to send them the check.
For the first time in my life I had to pay so I held off and waited till last week to send the money in. Bad planning after my son grew up and got a job and left me with no dependents to claim. Won't happen again next year but this one wasn't so fun.
