I'll be taking advantage of our very cold weather and cover of snow by making a trip to the woods to hunt (deer) this afternoon. This may be the first year ever I've been able to do that on as many as three days (at least one of the few years). We'd had some really cold weather two weeks or so ago and I was able to hunt the 2nd M/L season in Kentucky in the snow too. No luck then and very cold, but enjoyable, nonetheless!
I am hoping some other states (Geaorgia, S.C., N.C. ??) also have some deer seasons open so more hunters can enjoy this non-typical weather. Good luck to those that can!
