I watched pretty much all of them when it first started on the History Channel. It was interesting watching them pull them in on the cord. I remember one show were one of the gators kept straighting out the hook so they went to a custom heavy duty one to nab it.
I have watched it a few times and it seem like a real cool show. Kind a different kind of reality show...I like how they have no fear when it comes to dragging those nasty gators up from that cloudy dirty water...pretty brave.
i got drawn into it because it is a mix of reality and hunting shows. One episode had them getting a twelve foot gator. Now that is big. It is funny to see the guns they are shooting to kill the gators. They only use a .22 caliber rifle, but up close it is all they need, but they do not take very good care of the guns. They just leave them in the bottom of the boat and never look like they clean or oil them.
Saw one episode last night where they had a bad day hunting so they went out to get bullfrogs so they would have something to eat for dinner.
I have watched it a couple of times, but not for the whole show. Usually it's just when clicking around the channels. Pretty funny, and interesting. I just have way too many shows I follow right now to start recording another.
What do you do with those empty nylon feed bags or dog & cat food bags? Can you say recycle? I use them for target practice for the youngsters. Take your empty shopping bags, stuff them into an empty nylon feed bag. You can also use old clothing or rags, (but put them in the bottom so it doesnt get top heavy). When your bag is full, fold the top over, punch some holes into the top and zip tie the top shut. Paint, draw, paste, or have the kids decorate their new target. Set it out 10 or 20...
