Super Bowl Picks

So, what is everyones pick for the Super Bowl? I'm a Packers fan, so I guess I'll root for them.  Big smile

Super Bowl

Well, to be perfectly honest, although I am a huge football fan, I am not a fan of either team or QB for that matter. I will be enjoying a great Super Bowl party, however, at my daughter's house. I am already making plans for the "bring to" stuff I'm making.

Looks like venison chile and venison Italian sausage with peppers & onions (for sandwiches). I'll also bring some venison snack sticks and jerky as well. There will be lots more to eat (and drink) as well. Looks like I'll get to really enjoy the party, not caring so much for the actual game (the wife WILL be driving home!)  Thumbs up

Super Bowl Picks

I'm thinking chips and dip...maybe some salsa.  But then again, with beige carpet salsa would probably be a bad idea.  Probably a supply of soda, some pizza, and oh, yeah...PACKERS VICTORY.

Super Bowl Picks

I've always liked the Packers, but I'm particularly fond of them this year for what they've done for the American taxpayer and a lot of football fans.  Obama had said he was going to the Super Bowl if the Bears went, and goodness knows how much that trip would've cost us.  Besides...I can only imagine the security hassles all those fans would've had to deal with if he'd gone.   Applause

How can one argue with that perfect logic? And in my case, also saved me from having to change the channel several times throughout the game!  Yes

Looks like I am in the minority here, as I am a diehard Steeler fan!!!

I, however, will not make a prediction, as I am very, very superstitious, and I believe I will jinx my team if I bet or even predict ascore.

Let me say though that I think it will be a very good game, which does not bode well for my fingernails, as I plan on being very nervous... lol

Commercials should be good though....

Just hoping for a good game...and some really good commercials.  Will the Cowboy cheerleaders be on hand?
