Sunrise in San Diego....

.....and I am NOT overlooking a field, in 100 degree heat, getting peppered with birdshot..... And who would think I feel bad about not being there.. lol

My Dad wasn't able to get out here this year for dove season, so I didn't bother to take time off to go.  Heading back to Vermont for the first 3 days of deer in November, so all is not lost.

Hopefully you all are having fun out there.  I had 3 sitting on my fence yesterday evening thinking they were lucky birds.... Wink

Sometimes we can't make all

Sometimes we can't make all the hunts especially the smaller ones. And it's not the same if you can't hunt with your dad or son who has always been there with you. Your hunt coming up will be great I'm sure and something to really look forward to.

Every sunrise we are able to wake up to is a great one.

Mt first hunt is 12 days away now.

Yeah, I know.  Still feels

Yeah, I know.  Still feels funny when you wake up to an opener, and you're not out there.

My first hunt will be Saturday evening for our archery opener.
